A big thank you to our wonderful parent helpers and to the National Aquarium of NZ staff for our exciting trip earlier in the term.
As a Middle School group, we:
- learnt about dinosaurs (and also about flying reptiles and marine reptiles which are commonly referred to as 'dinosaurs')
- examined fossils by holding them in our hands (one was 50 million year old fossilized poop 😕)
- created our own fossils in a cup
- used tools to extract fossils from rocks
A very worthwhile learning experience for all!
