Digital Circus - Robotics

This week we had Toni (Miss Westcott) from Digital Circus working with the Middle School staff and students. We participated in an 'Introduction to Robotics' session and were working with Ozobots.

 We learnt about coding the Ozobots through the use of lines and colour sequences. We also had a lot of fun experimenting and debugging when it was necessary.

Throughout the term, we will continue using Ozobots within our Maths Geometry learning.

Percussion Assembly with Ms Kirk

To celebrate the Junior and Middle School students' learning in Percussion, they performed for an audience at a Clive School Assembly. A big thank you to Ms Kirk who works alongside these children and taught them about rhythm, beat and performing.

Middle School Animation - Scratch Jr

This term in the Middle School we have been learning about narrative writing. We have learnt to bring our narratives to life by animating them. When we animate, we have to include characters and make them speak and move. In our animations, we make sure that our narrative has a problem and a solution. We include backgrounds which give our viewers information about the setting. Our animations have an ending.

Here are what some of our Middle School learners have said;
